Fable-on-PC rumour and conjecture has whizzed like wildfire around the Internet before, the last speculation appearing in July of this year. At the time, Peter Molyneux hinted, in cryptic fashion, that plans were afoot to bring the groundbreaking RPG to a further platform - and this platform wouldn't be console.
But five months down the line, it's been revealed that Lionhead Studios and Lionhead satellite Big Blue Box 100-percent desire to develop a PC version of Fable.
Following numerous reports on the Internet, we contacted a spokesperson for the development studios earlier today for clarification. While they confirmed that: "Lionhead and Big Blue Box are in discussions with Microsoft about bringing Fable to PC," they went on to say that this in no way confirms that Fable on PC has been given the green light. But it's at least an amber.
