Turbine Secures Rights for D&D Online in Asia

TURBINE SECURES PUBLISHING RIGHTS FOR DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ONLINE IN ASIA
WESTWOOD, Mass. -- March 29, 2005 -- Turbine, Inc., a premier publisher of online subscription entertainment, announced today that it has taken over the exclusive Asian language publishing rights from Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) to sublicense the distribution, localization and operation of the highly anticipated massively multiplayer online game Dungeons & Dragons® Online in Asia. As a result, Turbine is currently looking for partners in a number of Asian markets to distribute, launch and operate D&D® Online locally.

Dungeons & Dragons Online is the first project to be fully developed, funded and operated by Turbine, creators of the critically acclaimed Asheron's Call® and Asheron's Call 2 video games. Based on the latest d20 rule set, D&D Online will provide players with the definitive online Dungeons & Dragons experience, complete with dramatic dungeon crawling, fast combat, challenging puzzles and unique character advancement.
Turbine intends to bring D&D Online to key Asian markets, such as China, Korea and Japan. Under the terms of the agreement, Atari will remain the publisher for all versions of D&D Online in North and South America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
