EverQuest II Q&A, Part Two

Jaded-Gamer has published a the second installment of a Q&A with Sony's Steve Danuser, in which the community rep provides some additional feedback about EverQuest II. Here's a little something to get you started:
Q: With instancing it seems there will be more high-end gear around at any one time. In EQLive, there could only be one instance of encounter X with a static respawn timer it can only drop so many items per month. With instancing there could be 50 instances of a similar encounter dropping many items per week, will you have any controls in place to stem the amount of items being released into the world?

A: Instancing does not mean the content is trivial to defeat or that the rewards will flood the market. Rare items will remain rare, because regardless of instancing there will be a level of skill and dedication required to obtain many items that not all players will achieve.
