Launch issues aside, Blizzard has done a fantastic job, and World of WarCraft is by far the most polished MMOG I've played . While World of WarCraft hasn't really innovated the genre much, they've lifted the bar for what people are going to expect from MMORPGs in the future. If you like MMORPGs , you'll probably WoW, and if you've never tried one, this is the game that will make you a fan. Blizzard has always done an excellent job of supporting their products for years after release, and they have a reputation for quality that rivals or exceeds any other development house today. See you in Azeroth!
The second is at Next Level Gaming with an overall score of 95/100:
In short, Blizzard's first foray into the world of MMO gaming is Superb. They've managed to blend New and innovative ideas along with tried and true features in a smooth running game worthy of the Warcraft name. All in all, It's a great game for newcomers and veterans of MMO gaming alike to play.
The third is at UGO with an overall score of "A":
WoW is an impressive display of storytelling, art direction, programming, and imagination, not likely to be surpassed any time soon. The sheer scope of the game's world is reason enough to play; it takes the creation of virtual fantasy worlds to an entirely new level. And with Blizzard's reputation for providing substantial updates to their games, we can only imagine what's in store for the future of WoW.
And the fourth is at 1Up with an overall score of 9.0/10:
All in all, affixing a numeric grade to this game carries a lot of difficulty. Like Warcraft III before it, World of Warcraft is less about cataclysmic evolution and more about refinement. If you are reading this review, you probably haven't bought World of Warcraft. If you need that final push or word of assurance, go for it. Now! See you in Azeroth.
