Star Wars: KotOR PC Reviews

Knights of the Old Republic is an excellent RPG. Of course, there's a much bigger crowd to compare it to on this platform considering how long the PC has been in action. While it's not quite as impressive a feat in sight the vast stores of PC RPG goodness found across the years, it's excellent in its own right and is definitely one of those games you have to play if you're into Star Wars at all. Hell you should play it even if you're not.
The second is at 1Up with an overall score of 8.5/10:
A remarkable exercise in extended story telling and immersion, KOTOR comes highly recommended even if something you once played was better in one or ten ways. It's in my library and it should probably be in yours. But... Don't happily swallow spoonfuls of hype, as it's not perfect.
And the final review is at Gone Gold, with no score but overly positive comments like this one:
With a world this fully realized, it would have been a mistake to have a narrow path for the player to take. Fortunately, the game is wide open. You an experience the light side or the dark side or anything in between. The dialogue tree you select from (your character is the only one not voiced) gives options in almost every conversation for both paths. I've become more enamored of tightly controlled games in the last two years because so few developers can create a sprawling, interesting world, but nothing is more fun when they do.
