While it would be going too far to say that Fable's debut on the PC has restored balance to the universe, it is certainly a welcome and worth RPG. Sure, it suffers from a bit of console-itis (limited save points are a plague on our hobby), but only in a minor way. Fable: The Lost Chapters has a good story, the quests are fun, and the action is enjoyable all the way through.
The second is at GameXC with an overall score of 8.5/10:
Fable: The Lost Chapters is most definitely an item all lovers of the original should own. The extra story and content, from weapons to side quests and monsters, make it a definite (yay.) If Fable took you 14 hours, this one will probably take you 16. I finished it in 17 and I did all 48 of the quests available to me. I also goofed around a lot and played with the stat tracking, which is enormously fun to keep up with. Keeping track of everything from how many times you've had sex to the creatures you've killed and what you've used to kill them. It's literally 5 or 6 pages of content to scroll through. Throw in all the mini-games and there's reason to keep playing every once and a while, but I'd rather just play through the whole thing again personally. With minimally frustrating technical problems, and a team at Lionhead very focused on delivering a solid, joyous time--it's a great deal.

There's a lot to like about Fable, but at the same time, it's not all it could have been. The story is tightly linear, so it's hard to make your character's tale your own. The aging thing is a cool gimmick, but your childhood and adolescence are over in the first hour of the game, and age has no impact on your abilities. You can get married. but what for? And the story is pretty short - for that reason, it's probably only worth your money if you're planning on playing through twice.
