Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Reaches Goal in 2 Days, Fargo Comments on Design

In just about two days since the start of the drive, Wasteland 2 has already managed to meet and exceed its $900,000 goal. Considering the sum keeps rising and there are still 33 days to go, it seems extremely likely that the project will have a bigger budget than the initially projected $1 million. Furthermore, Brian Fargo has begun tweeting about the game's broad stroke design decisions, including the fact that the team is inclined to go with an isometric view (but hasn't decided yet) and that they're going for a violent edgy tone:
You will most definitely get to create your entire party like Wasteland 1 or like Icewind Dale did (as an example).

You will be able to go with an existing group of Desert Rangers or make your own customized mix. And of course NPCs will join along the way.

The word "options" sums it up. That's what people want the most.

We are leaning towards isometric but we want to show some screens in our forum for fan feedback. You guys are my new boss after all.
It's extremely nice to be able to report about good news for once, and hopefully this project will be everything fans of Wasteland and turn-based RPGs are hoping it will be.

Thanks No Mutants Allowed.
