In the end, my dwarf took to the mead again to alleviate the tedium of this laboured RPG. There's some early enjoyment to be had from progressing your character, but it doesn't last, and the co-op mode is currently too bug-ridden to provide any extra life.
The second is at HEXUS Gaming with no overall score:
Mage Knight Apocalypse isn't all about fighting and there is plenty of treasure to pick up on the way. Unfortunately items don't stack in your backpack, so if you pick up 5 health potions they will fill up 5 slots. This means that you'll have to pick and choose wisely as to the items you wish to take on your journey, resulting in plenty of frustration as you fiddle about with your inventory rather than continue on the set quest. At one point we dropped a health potion by mistake and tried to pick it up, but it wouldn't even let us; there are so many poor gameplay decisions made by the developers and glitches in the game that we're not sure how it even passed the testing phase.

Just to add insult to injury, the game has some real bugs. Magic gems will sometimes become random objects when you're using the item upgrade system, dead bodies will follow you around, sliding across the ground eerily, and the multiplayer game, which theoretically lets you play through the whole campaign cooperatively with your friends, is just plain broken.
