For the first update to their Kickstarter drive the team behind Shadowrun Returns has chosen to keep it simple and simply thank the fans for the amount of support they've already given so far. Considering the project is already almost 50% funded ($198,200 as of the time of the post) and it's the first day of the drive, it's not difficult to see why they'd be grateful:

A very deep and sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to Shadowrun Returns so far. This has made for an interesting day, to be sure.
