Whilst the popular servers regularly attract in excess of two thousand players, I can't help but wonder how much longer Dark Age of Camelot will survive in the orc-eat-orc world of the MMORPG. Marred by several in-your-face glitches, an unbalanced Player versus Player system, and a sizable list of long-promised features yet to materialise, Trials of Atlantis could be naught but a fierce parting salvo. On the other hand, appreciable graphical improvements and a new, idiosyncratic realm to explore go a long way to prove that there is life in the old dog yet. Coupled with a devout player base, the fantastical lands of Camelot may yet be bustling with adventure-hungry wonderers for years to come.
