Many of the new items take advantage of the game's overhauled graphics engine, which delivers all-new high-resolution textures (not pictured) as well as a more diverse colour palette, higher polygon counts and improved 3D rendering and draw distance. A lot of old items and creatures have also had makeovers, but the most noticeable change is to the actual environments, with previous areas perhaps dulled by familiarity now looking fresh and new.
