The game features beautiful artistic design that hasn't been seen in previous Gauntlets and highly detailed animation and visual effects. The frame rate was a bit sluggish, but the game still has a lot of development time left, and the finished version should operate very smoothly. Some of the lighting effects are pretty slick as well as some of the combat maneuvers that some of the players can perform. It still retains the classic gameplay that Gauntlet is known for, but adds some touches to make it feel completely original.
