Although I wasn't overly impressed by "ShadowGuard", I would still recommend it as good value for money: $4.99 gets you not only "ShadowGuard" but also a fully remastered "Witch's Wake". For the price, you can't really go wrong.
While the Ladies of Neverwinter article gave no overall score, but had this to say in the conclusion:
Though rather short, the cost is minimal, and it comes bundled with the excellent Witch's Wake module. ShadowGuard is a high quality module, engrossing and entertaining, and is highly recommended for an afternoon of good fun.
