Welcome to our Fallout experience & level-up guide!

Experience in this game is gained at the same rate as in D&D 3rd Edition: i.e., begin at level 1, earn 1,000xp through level 1 to advance, 2,000xp through level 2, etc. The maximum level in Fallout is 21. Here's the xp table and the relevant titles to each rank:

Every level-up, your character will gain a number of skill points based on this formula:
5 + (Intelligence * 2)

Perks @ Level Up
Perks are similar to feats in D&D, and are gained at a normal rate of one every three levels. With the "skilled" optional trait, perks are gained every four levels.
