IGN Xbox has put together a feature called "Jade Empire World Tour", in which they take a closer look at some of the locales in BioWare's upcoming RPG. Here's a bit to get you started:
The Imperial City

The jewel in the Jade Empire's crown is the Imperial City, the heart of culture and government. In the city's districts live the greatest scholars, philosophers, fighters, and merchants of the Empire. The Emperor's own palace dominates the sky, floating over the vast preserve of the lands protected by the Wall, which reaches its southernmost point in the Imperial City. All who witness this sight are reminded of the glory and strength of the majestic Emperor Sun Hai.
