In one of the rooms there is a chest with a crystal egg in it. Thats the one item the guardian wants.

In the 2nd chapter in SoU you can place some food as a sacrifice on an altar to have a magical effect (cannot remember exactley what it was tho).

Other than that I think it just added to plausibility that you can find food in kitchens and such.

You can find:

1) Nashers Ring of Strength at the Smith in the 2nd chapter
2) Nashers Cloak on a corpse in a small cave near the dreads dearing entrance
3) Nashers Gloves at the named Illithid merchant
4) Nashers Boots at your Dschinni (need to be in 2nd chapter to get them from him)

Look around in the main room ... you will see a lever. Pull it and the colour swirling above that lever will change to one of the colors of the doors ... blue for water, green for acid etc. The door of the matching color will open and you can safely walk the floors of that "elemental" wing ...

... hehe ... that's true .. my char reached lvl 28 now and I definitely don't start all over again.

But maybe one of you can answer a question: Do the feats overwhelming and devastating crits with longbow really require str + 23/25 or is it for AAs set to the dex stat?

I took the lvl wizard (which is a lost lvl in my opinion) to get my ranger the arcane archer prestige class. It worked out fine and so far I am quite happy with it. Though I never will understand what that lvl wizard will add to my bow abilities

I had the same problem and found no other way than to start chapter 3 again. This time I went to the temple first and talked to the sensei ... after that I always got the five-mysterie-dialog options and had no problem finishing the quest .

You don't need to destroy the magical mirrors! All you need is to hit every of the four mirrors with a ranged weapon within the time limit (while the electric fence is active).
You need to be quick but 1 hit is enough, every hit after the first gets you the "weapon not efficient"-message.

Ahh I know what you mean now. Unfortunately I had no problem killing that guardian with my sorceress. Dispel Magic and some missile spells worked just fine on him. Just make sure you have an item with immunity death spells on. Not sure on taking him with a tanking type though.

Can you give some more specific information? OC, SoU or HotU? Which chapter?

I had the same problem but with a high persuade skill and charisma you can persuade her to turn herself over to Lord Nasher even without the ring.

If you have neglected that skills buy a greater mask of persuasion, charisma cloak and a potion of eagle splendor and try the good old load-game til you ...

My fighter had a Harbinger Kin in the original campaign and wore it throughout the game .. awesome damage and I couldn't find a better 2Hander in that game. Thats no bug. When you stand a while beside him and watch him beating up the dummy he will eventually stop and have a short break . You can talk to him then ... somtimes just needs a while

I had the same problem with Aribeth and the Scrivener. Found no other solution than starting chapter 3 again and visit the temple and the sensei first. After that I always got the mysteries-dialog options for all NPCs.

The golem parts are only available to arcane casters, since you need to have some arcane spells to create them at the golem machine ... my monk didn't find them too while my sorcerer got all the parts and fashioned a nice little golem with them

Well, I already have a lvl 32 sorcerer/red dragon disciple so I am not interested in making a ranger/wizard char

Basically I wanted to know if I can somehow avoid taking 1 lvl of wizard to get the possibility to make my ranger an arcane archer.
