broken armor

I've never found a good use for broken armor, although it is quite valuable. Broken weapons are usually fixed later in the game. Broken Gems? Never ran across them in IWD I. Necklaces, amulets that need no ID are just for trade. Same for rings. A gold ring is just that; a gold ring ...

Thanks for the reply! But, yes, I've killed everything, except for a leopard my ranger befriended. Maybe I've got to kill him also? I don't want to because he always wags his tail when he sees me no matter how many times I see her.
