Maybe Aerie's genes aren't dominant over those of <<character name>> ? Maybe it takes two winged elves to produce a wee winged elf?
Indeed, the wing development genes of Avariels are recessive, hence you need two copies to develop wings (one from each parent). If Aerie's half-avariel offspring ...

[QUOTE=Dedigan]So let me get this straight, for 7-9 levels of rogue, I can lose an additional 50% of the damage against the spells where my reflex save makes the difference. But I make all of my reflex saves anyway, thus taking no damage from those same spells. I think I'll stick to my 1-3 levels ...

HOF tips?
I'm trying HOF for the first time, and thought others might have a few tips. Here's what I've figured out for myself so far:
- Mass invisibility works wonders for fights that start as soon as you enter an area. Improved invisibility on a melee fighter is a gods-send.
- Summon lots of high-level ...

I found that even with a party of four, the twins were mincemeat in no time. Just make sure you sleep after the fight on top of the war tower, and apply all your protective spells before heading down again (invisibility and haste especially). Don't bother memorising demon-raising spells, or area ...

Stone bridge in the Severed Hand
There's a broken stone bridge just off the top floor of the war tower in the Severed Hand. I've noticed that if you move as far to the left as you can go, the other side of the screen shows a door icon if you move the cursor there.
Is there anything through the door on the other side of the broken ...
