In the Chapter 1 finale, there is a young boy in the storeroom with a surprising amount of magical items for sale. One item is a ring of the Wood Elves. Its description is that it was once owned by Aribeth.
Its attribute is spell resistance, but I can't recall the level ...

NWN Angry Shopkeepers (mild spoiler)
At the end of the Chapter 2 finale in Luskan, I went to purchase the Greater Belt of the Archer before moving on to Chapter 3. I had already cleaned out the Arcane Brotherhood's tower and needed only to meet with Aarin Gend before moving on.
Oddly enough, I could not purchase any additional ...

Physical Damage (mild spoiler NWN)
In Charpter 2, I picked up the Greater Swordsman Belt and the Greater Brawler's Belt. Each absorbs up to 20 points of damage per hit depending upon type, slashing and bludgeoning repsectively. I passed on the Archer's Belt, given that I hadn't faced too much piercing damage thus far, and the ...

Changing Feats
With the plan of moving onto SofU after finishing NWN, I purchased and reviewed the additional manual.
Certain Feats and Character Classes require specific feats. An example might be the Shadowdancer needing Dodge and Mobility, among other things.
Had I known this info, I would have made ...

Feats & Levels
It's odd to me that the description of when feats are acquired and when bonus attribute points are acquired are in very different sections of the manual. I find it helpful, approaching a certain Level (say 12), to know at the glance at a chart whether an attribute, a feat, or both ...

Castle Jhareg Justice? (SPOILERS)
I'm not real thrilled with the options available as Judge in castle Jhareg. Finding both brothers guilty is not an option.
If a confession is obtained from the demon (at the expense of a valuable magical item), the only way to judge the demon is to find both brothers innocent. Not only is that ...

Experience Point Penalties - Henchmen, Familiars, etc.
In Chapter 2, at Level 9, Grimgnaw basically mows through opponents before my character even has a chance to engage them. While impressive to watch, it doesn't make for a very interesting or challenging game. So, I primarily solo, unless it's a boss monster that I can't devise a strategy to defeat ...
