I hate him and kill him almost always... He does have a helmet but criticals hit still but don't do double damage. His ac is below -10(IIRC) so that's why it is hard to hit him. And that island tactic won't work if your path finding is high enough... found that out the hard way. Confrontation ended ...

I think tethoril cannot be killed. Can't be totally sure though. But has ony1 killed Shandalar? I haven't been successful in it, but I tried only three times. He casts too many fireballs and flesh to stones. I managed to do some damage... But its reduced greatly. Usually he took like 1 or 2 dam but ...

what does improved battles and refinements do? Others I know but not those...
I'll probably install everything included in tactics and try it out. I got that impression that if something is too difficult you can reload and uninstall it. :D And then there is difficult slider... it should help a ...

I'm thinking installing Tactics and would like to ask somethings about it. I have read many things about it and I will most likely rip my hair off from frustration playing it. :D

1. Does tactics increase experience rewards from those beefed-up monsies?

2. What other mods would you suggest with it ...

Some people in the city should say something about dukes and if you go back inside Iron throne one or two guys should be leaving and say something. But none of this is important... try going to flaming fist hq... plot should proceed.

Maybe you are using that rod from the lich at city gates. It has some % change on every hit to permanently reduce your charisma. Other than that can't think anything...
