Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you suppose to get a neckless from the temple of (I don't remember)
I have just revealed Mae-var's treachery and I was never asked to get any golden statuette.
Is hte quesst different if you're evil maybe ?

I think the mushroom room is just some sort of "bonus room". No quest and nothing fancy to collect just a little fight.

If Aarie is completly gone, I think that means that her body has been shattered and you can't resurrect her. You'll have to load an old game to keep her, or she'll be gone forever!

As Cobra mentioned there are mixed opinions on her usefullness, but if your playing good, and your not a mage ...

I only keep Viconia in my party so that I can romance her, but this is probably gonna take some time isn't it ?
I had Anomen with me last time around and I would say that he is much more usefull though annoying. I don't think that Viconia is a very good cleric, correct me if I'm wrong...

I must say that I kinda agree with Sigurd. Minsc isn't really that good. I've just gotten so used to having him around that a can't let him down. And Boo would miss me. Actually it hasn't even accured to me that I could play without Minsc in my party. Maybe I'll dump him for Keldorn or Mazzy.

there is absolutly no resons not to play BG1. It's a great game, and TOTSC is very challanging.

I think that would be imprisonment

how about this;
I think you can be immune to imprisonment by using "spell immunity" and choosing abjuration. Since imprisonment is an abjuration spell it will not affect you, and you can wack him....
