The entrance is closed until you've spoken to Nev/Dull, so nothing strange there. Why you can't speak to him, though, I have no idea.

I doubt there is any spell that'll just "fix" him, so probably massive damage is best. Celerity, I think, was what helped me most in that battle ...

Whenever I try to feed on some innocent sod, the guards _always_ come running, so I gave up on those and went for the guards instead. If, by "I have been bitten" youmean you have become a vampire, the answer is that there is NO way you can avoid that :-)
But I assume you mean that you've also been bitten after transforming into a vampire, when wearing that neckguard.

How about going by yourself, and when they see you, you keep backing and lure them with you until you get back to the group. Then just group everyone and have them feast on the enemies.
Or, if you have awe or another spell to make them come to you, use that one to make them come with you to some ...

I'll venture a guess: You have accidentally pressed some button that released all party members from your control? On each character picture, in the bottom right corner, is a small green light that can be turned on/off. If you turn it off, that member will not follow you nor take any actions to help ...

17. Flame Ring has a blood cost of 15 (for lvl 1-3) and 10 (for lvl 4-5). It does 8-25 damage, depending on distance to target. Distance is the same for all levels.
