If you plan to play a lot of games on you computer, then I would suggest getting an AMD Athlon64 based system. It is much better for gaming than the Pentium 4s. Plus you won't have to upgrade again in the future when Windows 64 comes out.

You can also try Microsoft Virtual PC. It basically lets you run multiple operating systems simultaneously in different windows so that you don't have to reboot in order to switch OS. It should work the same as Windows XP but for some reason, MAME 32 is not reading all of my hard drive. I don't have the drive partitioned or anything. MAME 32 runs fine on my laptop with XP. So I've come to the conclusion the problem has to be related to Windows 98SE.

MAME on Windows 98SE

Does anyone know if MAME32 can work with Windows 98SE? I tried installing it on my PC running an AMD 700 mhz. I have 30 gig of hard drive space but MAME32 keeps telling me that there's not enough space.
