how do you enter the sewers after the quest in the five flagons inn? am i missing something obvious?

I think I messed up
Im in the sewers and realize I need a sewer key to advance. Unfortunately, like an idiot, I think I dumped my key a while back when I was trying to make space. For some reason, I thought it was a quest specific item Id already used.
Ive no idea where I dumped it.

Knights of Solamnia (partial spoiler?)
After some frustration in the Planar Sphere, I finally made it out. I was checking the walkthrough and it says you can rescue the knights by giving Ribald in the A.Mart 9000gp. When I go there, i dont get that option. Any idea why not?

A simple question
Im sure its right under my nose, but where does your weekly gold appear in DeArnise Keep? I know Im supposed to look for coffers, but after an hour of wandering I cant seem to locate them. Can someone give me some directions? This is irritating me.

I just boght the game - looks great. I'd like to be able to make my own party, but my question is this - having played a bit in the single player mode, it seems that a fair amount of narrative (quest triggers?) relate to the NPC's. If I fill a party up, or even come close, Imoen et al wont be with ...
