Is this Mairyn a character introduced by a mod? I don't think I have ever seen anyone with that name.

I have just been in their forums. Try again.

If you have problems installing a mod, please specify which mod it is and exactly what goes wrong. Otherwise nobody will be able to help.

I think that's quite common if you do nearly all sidequests in chapters 2 and 3.
Not so much if you skip sidequests, but more so if you play with mods. I usually reach 3 million xp at the end of chapter 5 when playing without mods, and near the start of chapter 5 when playing with a few mods. That's ...

I don't think there's a mod incompatibility involved. Probably it's one of these:

1. Randomly occurring string confusion. Seems to happen with many mods. Many mods include a string fixer script. Kelsey does but I don't remember how it's activated. Try talking to Kelsey and look if there is an ...

Two reinstalls? Then you got lucky if it works this time. I did about five reinstalls before I got the game to work with all those mods. But the result is nice - I'm almost at the end of TOB now with only one or two very minor bugs.

Remember the sequence:

1. BG2 Full install
2. TOB Full install
3 ...

Invisibility or not doesn't matter for monks, at least as far as backstabbing is concerned - since they can't backstab anyway. Invisibility has no effect on critical hits.
About dragons: there have been enough reports of dragons being killed by a Quivering Palm that I think it's possible, although I ...

You have installed Unifnished Business, right? Then you must first speak to the servant in the Corthala family home, who puts you into contact with someone else whom you must contact. Only then will you meet Valygar at his cabin.

You'd need BG1Tutu to play a monk in BG1. I think it will be extremely hard for a few levels, since monks are melee characters, but get as few hitpoints as mages (I don't know if their CON bonus is capped at +2, though). BG1 also has *no* monk-specific items since there was no monk class in the ...

Heh - didn't I recommend not to install Improved Ilyich? It's made to be as insanely hard as possible, and, IMO, doesn't fit into the story and the world at all with its !§%$-real history references.
All the rest of Tactics isn't nearly as difficult. Improved Faldorn is extremely hard (I cheated ...

Totemic Druid kit: let Cernd stay a Shapeshifter and don't install this component. With Shapeshifter rebalancing he's much more useful.

Kelsey: read the readme (BTW: *do* read all the readmes. Some contain important information). Government district, near Firecam estate.

The file: extract it into ...

The easiest way: steal some Restoration scrolls and keep them with you throughout the game. That leaves your Cleric spell slots for something more universally useful.

This is my list, and I have installed those mods in the order I posted, and you quoted. You can get them all via links from the modlist at http://www.pocketplane.net . I have checked yesterday. You *can* go back to the Underdark main area, as well as the Kuo-Toa and Beholder area, probably the illithid city, too, but I didn't try that. I suspect that you cannot go back into Ust'Natha.
