From 2ndEd PnP rules it is the arrow bonus.

My experience in TOB however was the reverse, the bow's bonus was what was used. I did not test this in SOA however as I just blugeoned anything that my arrows would not hit. I ran into baddies that Gesen with +3 arrows could not touch that Tarlash and +3 ...

I would have been happy with my mage getting an extra 1st 2nd & 3rd lvl spells so they could fill up their lower lvl spells like a cleric.

As an aside... it would have been nice had they included the optional PnP 2ndED magic resistance rules. TOB favors fighter classes way too much.

Archers can make 10 attacks/round normally when enchanted by improved haste and using improved gauntlets of weapon specialization or Tungan Bow.

I would suggest smite and critical strike to maximize the utility of your archer.

Sleeping with Phaere is always a romance killer with Aerie, but with Jaheria and Viconia disaster can be avoided.

I DLed 4.4 and will be able to test that out tomorrow. For posterity's sake I have been using _2 because that extra +1 thaco for elven archers is a moral imperative.

I set the global ViconiaRomance countdown to 1, and let impatience do the rest. For some reason the CLUA command for the same just isn't working so I resorted to using SK. So it involved alot of the save, edit, save loop.

I would have to say the Dakkon is my favorite. The premise of the NO on a quest to find his soul as he helps Dakkon find his focus really resonates. From the story's perspective there isn't another NPC that really *has* to help NO.
