Okk it seems cool indeed.
I started playing with sorcerer and the difference with a simple mage is awesome (with high charisma, you just blast everything).
I'm now in Chult, and I killed ALL the Yuan-ti with my sorcerer with 3 mirror image, 2 haste, and some mass bombing spells (DBFB ...

In that case, I prefer the +2 bonus than another armor (they all sucks until now (yuan-ti temple) so I hope to find a good one soon (maybe in Dragon's eye..)). I have a heavy armor which gives me a+2 magic resistence...whouaou!
and a nice one which gives damage reduction 5/+1 (this one is cool ...

Is there any point in being ridiculous??? I wouldn't wear a purple yeti boots or glove or worst, hat... But True, would have been nice if the pelt he drops was purple so I could have sold it to Oswald or Nym the ... ;-)

My sorc is now level 18 (he has one 9th level spell, WOB) and I don't know if I should squatt one or two levels in order to see if I get high level scrolls for my Illus. (also bombardier) in order to avoid taking a spell and them get it twice, or at ...

What do you think of the "Icelandic Pearl Bracers" given in the BS (I think it was level 3 for me). They just Rock!!! I love them

Ha, of course, sorry I forgot to tell you that in order to kill Emma, the first thing to do is to cast a chromatic orb (level 5 for stunning effect). In case you can cast 2 just to be sure.. ;-)

What is the best item to buy and how much does it cost please? (normal and HOF). For myself, I bought that adventurers book (+10000xp...nice) just in case I don't get to level 30, so I always can export/import it some times to get the desired level. So it stays in my bag of holding for a long period ...

You're right, your party should be level 10 (my sorc was 11). Note that at that time, I did'nt have used 1st level char to gain xp as you mentionned, but I just had my 4th char stayed at 1st lev. (the others where 11 9 and 5 ..). It's only after Ice temple I had ...

Do you think it's better to get 5900+3900 xp reward from malavon or to kill him and his pathetic drow party (they are afraid of the mindflayers.......... wouhahahahahaha!!!) to get their items? They drop some weapons (+2 / +3) rings of protection +2, 9th level mage scrolls ...

*with the Bsquares?? do you REALLY think they are difficult to complete?????? And that depend of your level, and that you must come back later when your party is higher level, and blablablablabla???

For my Illusionist, he won't get xp penalties because I don't take more than 1 or 2 levels from the other classes than Illus.(prefered class) and I don't need dalekeeper as he gets enough xp ...
