Well i don't know about the saving throws bouns but i do know its very good against slashing. (-6AC vs slahing!)

All u got to do is get a 100TON hammer and smash it right across Bhaals face, then u run for your life cause u know he will be coming after u after that.

only one big problem with that.

It lasts for about 6 rounds which is nothing because once you start to cast the spell again and again the first time you casted it would only have about 4 rounds left because of the time it takes to cast the others.

You get like a Elven armour-AC 5, its not very good compared to the armour I had when I got there. But I guess that depends on when you decide to do the quest.

No it won't matter. Which ever one you go to will give you the key to the crypt. There is no evil or good path here, only when you decide who you give the mantle to.

There is a good path and one not so good.
If you give the mantle to the mayor you get a rep increase and some exp (can't remember how much). But if you give the mantle to EITHER of the two families they will fight each other and YOU!! So if your a paladin stick with good path and get the rep ...

I had the same problem too. The way I done it was to go into My Computer and access the mouse option in the control panel. I changed the egg timer icon into the animated egg timer icon (u know the one that actually spins rather then the basic default one). then I loaded the game and it was gone.
