Question about gorgon plate

I have a question about the gorgon plate found in the Underdark (AC -1, 15% resistance to fire & acid). I've read in a couple of posts that it gives a saving throw bonus, but the item description doesn't say anything about this. Anyone able to confirm the saving throw bonus?

Well i don't know about the saving throws bouns but i do know its very good against slashing. (-6AC vs slahing!)

No, Gorgon Plate doesn't give a saving throw bonus:

STATISTICS:

Armor Class: -1
Bonus: 15% resistance to fire and acid
Weight: 30
Requires: 12 Strength
Not Usable By:
Bard
Druid
Mage
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
