The concepts of levels, stats and even the classes (Paladin) are common in name only between D2 and BG.

i.e. A level 10 Paladin in one game has nothing to do with a level 10 Paladin in the other - they just connot be compared in any way whatsoever. Someone could create a game tommorow and say that ...

Thanks. Still a little confused though... is it every 2 or 3 levels for a pure fighter?

Does anyone know how many levels per class it takes to earn a new proficiency star?

Stalkers capture the imagination nicely. For me anyway, they remind me of Aragon from LOTR.

The is a definite logic problem with the inconsistancy between Stalker and Thief armour restrictions - is this a BG2 issue or an an oddity with the D&D rules - perhaps a PnP expert could explain...???

Agreed. I had Valygar in my party most of the game... finishing with him dual welding Crom Faeyr and Celestial Fury... why he cant use decent armour is beyond me - even if it were at the penalty of losing stealth it would be fine with me.

The Drow Plate +5 must be a bug/oversight... I posted a note ...

True... but can you tell me why a stalker is able to wear Drow Plate +5 and not Elven Chain? And why could a thief wear it and not a stalker - is it not about the same thing - being undetectable in armour?

Excellent work on the fixes/enhancements. I think I have one more for you (bug that is)... it seem as though Valygar (or perhaps all Stalkers) can use Drow Plate +5. Even accounting for the superior craftmenship/materials etc it seems a little extreme given they can only usually wear leather ...

In reference to the best armour in the game for a thief - it is in fact the Bladesinger Chain +4. Of course you get it so late in the game it really is of no use... in BG2 at any rate.

It is AC 1 and while it does not have any direct bonuses to your thief skills it has the lowest penalty ...

In the Waukeen's Promenade circus there are several caged animals - in one cage is a Moose and a Squirel... aka Rocky & Bullwinkel.

Has anyone noticed any other odd refernces to other characters (non fantasy) ?
