Yup did the original harper quest... and have tried sleeping outside. And also just waiting outside and leave bg2 running for a couple of hours - nothing. I was wondering about loading an older save game (from underdark) and trying again.

ok i'm sure this has been covered but i can't find it. Are there any disadvantages for leaving imoen in spellhold? I've completed it with her in the past and she hasn't been that much of a help - So i'd like to keep jan and just tell her to return to the cc.

I'm going through bg/totsc again having completed bg2 and whilst waiting for ToB. I've just got the book from the the ruins of ulcaster and given it to the ghost ulcaster. Looking at the journal tho it says something about ulcaster wanting tombs/books i only found the one book. And haven given the ...

In the past i've only ever played bg2 as class specific characters i.e. mage or paladin. When you mix up classes what happens to the quests? Do you get access to say both the mage/fighter quests? Thanks.

When i was playing, i kept on having to cast pierce magic so that he was vunerable and i then had to cast breech a number of times so that my 'fighters' could actually do damage otherwise it was just saying weapon ineffective. Is it possible you just need to cast breech again?

Okay i completed bg2 with a paladin, but i've decided to start from scratch (i.e. BG) with a mage and then bring it in to bg2. My question is when importing my mage will his equipment come as well? And will he have a higher experience level at the start of bgII cos i've gone through totsc? Thanks in ...

Has anyone actually given all the beggars in bgII money? If so what happens? Or are they just there to make the place look 'rough'?

Do the heads actually come off? If so sounds VERY cool. Oh does anyone know when ToB will be in the shops in the uk?

I did read it. And the other threads didn't answer my question is HA still the best or are there other better swords. All the swords i can find listed here are +5 which is the same as HA. So the question still stands.

I'm in the uk so am still waiting for ToB. Before it gets here though are weapons like the HA still the best? Or are there more powerful swords etc?
