Lack of spells....

I was brave enough to start the solo wizard adventure. Choosing a deep gnome Illusionist and by maxing DEX I got a pretty good AC to start with and chose a crossbow as my favorite weapon. Actually this way Targos and the pallisades were no problem at all. The real problem ...

Just wondering. Has anybody tried to solo ID2 as a wizard (or sorcerer) and would like to share his experience with all of us? Was thinking of doing so myself. I can imagine a 10+ level wizard to hold on to itself, but are unsure if he will survive Targos...

Any comments?
