Bioware have gone on record as saying that ToB is the last product they'll make with the Infinity engine. So if there was (conceivably) a BG3, it will be with a different engine.

The D&D license is another issue. Bioware addressed a question at the May Stratics chat:

Question from [abodi]: With ...

I can't see it affecting NWN's sales. NWN will be a superior product, with a superior toolset, and a design philosophy that lends itself to quick customization.

And with any luck, the proprietary code issue will be minimal. Bioware have said themselves, in talking about ToB, that they knew they had ...

There's a secret cache in the Cloudpeak Mountains South of Nashkel. It's a little blurry ledge. If you arrive from the North, walk SW for about two screens. Coordinates (x 1791 y 413).

I pulled that straight from Dan Simpson's guide at Gamefaqs. Between that and Desslock's guide from Gamespot just ...

I wouldn't worry too much. Give it a few months, when it's a lot closer to shipping, people will be starting to sit up and take notice. It's gonna be the biggest thing to hit the R-P community since AD&D :D

I'll bet 1 GameBanshee guild won't be enough.

Okay, I found out where I got the idea from.

The late-game dialog for the NPCs is in their "25J" files, eg. Aerie25J, Anome25J etc. Still don't know where the romance dialogs are though.

Or... you could give Near Infinity a try! An excellent alternative, considering InfExp doesn't look like it'll get updated again anytime soon.

It doesn't matter. The class requirements are controlled by ABDCSCRQ.2DA for the source class, and ABDCDSRQ.2DA for the destination class, with DUALCLAS.2DA controlling which classes can dual to which. Ranger, Archer (Feralan), Stalker, and Beastmaster all have STR, DEX, and WIS requirements of 15 ...

I don't recall very well, but are there different stat requirements for the different kits to dual-class? That might be a factor.

OK, here's the deal.

Something is interrupting the script where Gorf is attacking the bystander. It should SetGlobal("GorfBystander","GLOBAL",1) but for some reason doesn't. I can't tell why because I can't observe it for myself. The first dialog checks Global("GorfBystander","GLOBAL",0) before ...
