they dont have any background info on anyone at all, except some characters, and others are just totally random (mandalore, atton).

I wouldn't say that Mandalore was a totally random character with no background.

On Telos, don't break into the footlocker in apartment section A. When you do, the guy will come storming in. Depending on your conversation choices, you can either leave or kill the guy. But once you made you decision, you can't go back on it. So save the room until you have Mandalore in your party ...

With HK-47, you can gain a good deal of influence with him by killing that mandalorian in Dxun ( the one stuck up on that ledge). Just press the button for the charges, and HK's behvior core will just glow with delight.

In order to stay on the Handmaiden's good side, you must gain gain influence with her before or while you exit onto a planet. If you do this without sparring with her, you will stay on her good side and witness the spat between both the Handmaiden and Visas when you board the Hawk again. If not then ...
