No it is NOT A BUG, the ring protects against ANYTHING that effects movement.
So it is not a bug.

Yep and use the ring of free movement and you can move while defensive spin.

Cause the rings discription says that it protects against anything that has to do with movement.

And about the AC bonus.
When you have a AC of -5+ defensive spin means -15AC

If I cheated i would have 19 constitution, I used the elves penalty to constitution you see.
And I wanted that higher dextirity otherwise 19,19,19,19 looks stupid.

And i didn't recieve any further bonusses like +1 to thac0 while using longswords and bows, neither the resistances.

I bought Icewind dale today!
It totally rocks.
With my elven (there is a really cool thief portrait in the game)fighter/thief level 4/5.

But what is the exp cap in Iwd?
And can I play trails of the luremaster without HoW?

You know I figured out that a fighter thief in ToB would be really cool.
Because if you could combine greater whirlwind with assasination, you have 10 backstabs a round!

i had the same problem and visited the link you posted, but I can't find it could you please point it out more.

You know ther might be a way to backstab with a swachbuckler (without cheating).
Import you thief from BG1 and choose swachbuckler as kit.
I think you have still kept your backstab ability only it does not get better (might also work for your thieving skills).

I had it also with my totemetic Druid ...

You CAN backstab with staves only NOT with the staff of the magi.
And you can also backstab with a club.

And about how you backstab with a staff, the thief will probaly "shuffle" it up in the opponents ass can't wait to see the face of the enemey :eek:

Because you can atack earlier then the mage can cast his spell.

If I have a armour how can I change the apereance of it?
I have a druid who looks like a thief when I equip leather armour.
Not when I equip ankheg plate her appereance changes back to normal. How can I stop this and make her look as a thief wearing leather,
instead of a duid wearing plate.

You know I am doing the same, get my bard up to 2950000XP and continue the game.

20 dexterity (Changed the tome of con to dex to be better with missiles)
