Another option

I had this issue too. Try ducking/crouching in front of the chest before opening it. Worked every time for me.

Same problem

I have the same issue, it also ocurred after getting hit with the green balls in the warrens. I tried the uninstall, reinstall, patch route with no luck :mad: . I was using an old save game after the reinstall, I didn't try going through everything again. Maybe it's a config setting ...
