the shadowkeeper bit perfectly, just moved the staff of the magi out of the weapon slot and put it in her inventory. *poof* no problem.

shhhh, don't tell, but frennedan is actually a doppleganger. one of your dialog options says "i've had enough of dopplegangers!" which is refering to BG1. there are more dopplegangers in durlag's tower than there are raisins in a box of raisin bran.
