Thanks. I've tried to copy paste into character folder but like you said you lose all items and experience. I'll poke around at CO8.

Does anyone know how I can get characters from one save game to another? I started playing TOEE and created some pretty decent characters but had problems with the game crashing so I copyed the save and character folders to another directory before re-installing the game.
