Need help with Characters/Save files
Does anyone know how I can get characters from one save game to another? I started playing TOEE and created some pretty decent characters but had problems with the game crashing so I copyed the save and character folders to another directory before re-installing the game. But now I have a new party and I want to know how I can get those characters into my current game without losing all their items and experience.

The only thing I can think for you to do would be to insert the old character files into the current character folder and then use the book at the wench in hommlet to swap in those characters. This, however, will not preserve their experience and items. What you'll have to do is save the game, and then somehow modify it, altering their equipment and the like. Then you could use the console to level them up to whatever you want. (Maybe you can change their experience when modifying the file too, but I just don't know). To find out how to do any of this properly, you should poke around at co8.org.
Sorry I can't be more help.
