From the previous posts, someone mentioned siding with Firrkragg if you are neutral . However, a neutral character is somewhat of an opportunist and if you get a chance to kill a dragon (when Firrkragg lets you go and is completely unaware of an attack) a NE character would most likely take it ...

If these problems occur a lot, maybe you should check if your cd is deficient in any way. That's because I had no such problems when I went through the game.

I know everyone thinks that halfling fighters suck, but I think that if a halfling fighter spends 5 slots on warhammers and 5 slots in shortbows, he would be pretty formidable. Just give him Crom Faeyr, his strength penalty would be obsolete. Plus, give him a Gesen Bow and he would be an awesome ...

Hmm... in SoA, I had Korgan weilding the Wave (+4 halberd) he was very formidable even then. Maybe I should make him dual-weild the Axe of Unyeilding and Crom-Faeyr simultaneously. Better yet, I should probably make my own elven Fighter who dual-weilds the Rune-Hammer and Crom Faeyr! Think about it ...

Amazing isn't it? I don't know, but I believe it's possible to screw around with custom characters and items with Shadow Keeper. Also, Team BG has all these downloads and utility programs which help you customize your game.

One thing you have to know. Jan won't be the best replacement for Imoen, BUT eventually he becomes THE BEST THIEF IN THE GAME. My Jan had basically over 120% in every thief skill at the end of the game. He also makes a good backup mage.

There is another od for destroying Kangaxx. Since Beserkers in their beserk mode are immune to Imprisonment spells, you can have a beserker character recieve the brunt of Kangaxx's spell repetoire, while your spellcasters peel his magical defences off with their dispel magics.
