dual wield both, actually what i have is korgan dualing crom faer and the axe of unyielding, but i have the runehammer in another weapon slot in case i run into soem undead
I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor

What i did was when i got korgan early i made his profencies into 5 duel weilding 5 axe and 5 battle hammer then some thing else but i duel weilded the crom and rune hammer he is kick ass its funny having both his weapons being hammers but all his remarks have to do with his axe

Hmm... in SoA, I had Korgan weilding the Wave (+4 halberd) he was very formidable even then. Maybe I should make him dual-weild the Axe of Unyeilding and Crom-Faeyr simultaneously. Better yet, I should probably make my own elven Fighter who dual-weilds the Rune-Hammer and Crom Faeyr! Think about it... 19 dex and 25 strength!

19 dex is the same as 18 for a melee char, same as 20 also.

elf will only have 17 (starting out) con.

the crom is easily the better hammer, as it's very good vs all types of enemy, the rune rocks vs undead...

Dwarves with Halberds and Elves dual-weilding War Hammers. Paladins with Butter Knifes of Balduran and Mages wielding Golden Pantaloons. Confusing, all so very confusing...

Crom, dual wielded with the rune Hammer is one of the most effective attacks I have ever seen. It blast through pretty much anything you throw at it. I've seen it best Dragons singlehandedly.

My vote for best combo is axe of the unyeilding in mainhand and crom feayr in the offhand. The runehammer can be put into the secondary mainhand slot incase you run into some undead nasties.

Either that or something with a weapon that gives an extra attack.
