where does one get this "beefed up" patch? I want it too...does it beef up the Baliza-whatever his name is spelled too?

yea you're right, the Universe staff idea is too powerful with the 5%. I actually wanted the Summon Comet special to be as rare as Sarevok's Deathbringer. I assume it's a 5% or maybe 1%. Also consider that only a mage can use it, not duel or anything else. Anything higher than that is obviously ...

Mind Drain as in intelligence drain. Like give it 6 points =). Pretty much the same as what Mind Flayers do when they attack heh.

for some reason I think it would've been an interesting idea if they have the cap lower for all the npcs and the cap higher for the main pc since he's a bhaalspawn and all. just a mere thought

I would also drop Jaheira and take Anomen since you're party is the goodie goodie type. Anomen is badass later on in the game.

Since you're romancing Aerie, you should pick Keldorn instead. Haer will get with Aerie and you're going to have to go thru some tough times with the risk of both Aerie and Haer leaving your party. I suggest in your party drop Minsc and put in Valy and drop Nalia ...
