Using the file names that Ashen mentioned I did a drive search and found them in a completely different area of my drive. I found them at: Documents and Settings\(User Name)\My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Save\SinglePlayer\(PC Name)

Before posting this question I tried to locate a Save file and failed. I chalked it up to not knowing where to look. Well, it seems that there is no Save file for DS2 on my system. Not sure how that is possible, since it obviously saves the game somewhere.

How do you access the backup saves? The only option I see when I load the game is to continue the most recent saved game.

Is there any way to go back to a slightly earlier save, or to hak a lost item back into my current save?
