Update

Still getting problem - seems to occur between daily and once every couple of days. Program usually open when it happens is internet explorer but I don't think this is particularly relevant.

If it is caused by some sort of update issue, would doing a system restore back to say a month ago ...

Sorry, meant to say, current character is half-orc so barbarian is favoured-class (therefore should be no penalty). NB the difficulty settings are the same in each game too.

1) Non human/Non Half-Elven race - totally ignore prestige class for purposes of mc experience penalty calculation (eg could have Dwarven Fighter 10, RDD 7, Sorc 1 with no penalty, or Dwarven RDD 10, Fighter 7, Sorc 1 ditto ?)

2) Human/Half Elf - provided prestige class is lower than ...

Just started HotU and slightly annoyed :mad: - collected all sorts of handy loot not only for myself but also for possible henchmen. Get to HotU and *puff* one drow thief later and its ALL GONE. Is that it, is it all gone for good or is it possible to recover it later?! :confused ...
