Playing either the Exile or Revan as the PC is impossible from a programmer's point of view, though - it makes the game very difficult to get into for first timers (yes, I know the majority will have played the first and second, but I started with the secon... so naturally, there will be people who ...

Heh - I only ever killed Bastila once out of around fourteen showdowns on the Star Forge Command deck, and that was after failing to persuade her that I thought she was hot in her black outfit... some women.

Every single other time, she's been redeemed and so naturally, she's in the second one. Yes ...

Serious mode:

Difficult one - I think that because of Revan's nature, i.e. something dark down inside him, it is impossible for Bastila to truly betray him and sever the bond completely. However, it all depends on how one perceives the nature of the Force. If the Potentium (Jedi heresy, apparently ...

If my memory serves me correctly, the dark side cave on Dagobah exists because Yoda pistol-whipped a Bfasshi Dark Jedi many years before the events of Episode IV... There is a description of the events in Timothy Zahn's "Vision Of The Future" and that's the closest I can get to it.

I think we'll ...

Sure thing - it's one of many possibilites, however. Yes, Bastila fell to the dark side to become Malak's coffee-girl but in KOTOR II she still speaks of the bond being present despite that. And I'll definately agree that the bond is nowhere near as strong as Kreia/Exile, as surely Revan would have ...
Agreed Chim. Revan should be dead. I've been thinking about it and you should findhim remains somewherer.
Going on general Star Wars trivia/lore, killing Revan would either do irreparable damage to Bastila (assuming, as the canonical ending to KOTOR i suggests she's ...

Hmmm... just playing KOTOR II a fifth time around as a Jedi Weapon Master and willing to accept a few DS points to get some more background to the story and I've come up with the following:

As an exercise in gaming, KOTOR II is much better than its predecessor: the story seems to be a ...

By the end of my second time through KOTOR, using a Scout ---> Consular, I'd managed to get Mr. Revan to 34 defense using a single bladed lightsaber with (IIRC):

Some funny dayglow orange gauntlets (admittedly from Suvam in the PC version)... Detonators, methinks: +3 Dexterity / +5 BBD.

Qel-Droma ...

Depends which films you're talking about - the ones Obi Wan Kenobi wears in the first three films (i.e., I, II, III) are very different to the ones Alec Guiness sports in the last three (IV, V, VI), not to mention Anakin Skywalker's and then even Luke Skywalker's in ROTJ.

But yes, the robes do look ...

I have issues playing a dark-sider, too... even though it's only a game, I can't bring myself to do certain things.

Yes, making the thugs jump into the abyss on Nar Shadaa had me laughing for a very long time, other things such as killing the sake of violence left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think ...

It's a pain, this one - who knows what the Lucasarts boffins will decree regarding the 'echos in the force?' They could opt for the 'cancelling soundwaves' idea, i.e. when the Exile and Revan meet they come to a decision to safeguard the Force for eternity and eliminate themselves as per Neo vs ...

Bringing Revan back as the main character wouldn't work. A lot of people are probably attached to the character due to it being their first foray into the SW: KOTOR galaxy and as such bear a certain affection for all of the characters - notably Bastila, Revan and perhaps Carth. Therefore it is ...
Hello :)
Well, from my reading, Lucasarts have supported a Light-sided male Revan as the canonical KOTOR character, i.e. how the film would be, were it to be made. Off-topic, I don't know how many people have thought this through, but a Dark side ending to KOTOR wouldn ...

If and when the game does come out, it will definately be on the Xbox 360 - Lucasarts will not be foolish enough to code for the Xbox and ignore what will potentially be the biggest and baddest gaming platform for the next three years.

As such, there is one massive issue to consider: engine ...
