In my version of the game (german), you can only turn the auto level on/off at the chacracter cheet. Now, on the character sheet, it says "turn auto level ON" when it is turned off, and vice versa. The first time i visited the sheet I was a bit confused as well, as i only saw the "autolevel ON" and ...
I do like the lacuna coil album though
any thoughts on why it is an "Empty Spiral"?
They explain it like this:

A two-track demo under the name ETHEREAL was recorded and sent to several labels across Europe. After reviewing the offers that came in"]

I ...

I had similar problems the first time i played the game, stemming from different sources.

Firstly, there is the already mentioned virtual memory. If you have windows XP you will notice a little warning sign in the taskbar which appears for a couple of seconds after the game crashes, telling you ...

Warning - How to fry the game

Just wanted to warn people not to do the thing I did:

In a certain stressfull moment I quicksaved while the game was still loading an area (I got a trigger happy f-9 finger). The result was that the game would not load new areas any more, or allow me to load save games, crashing to desktop every ...
i should have saved at the point where you have the option to decide the particulare ending, so i can try them all. is there anyway to get there without having to play the whole game again?
Even with a save game right at the end it will be impossible (it at least was for me) to ...

I am new to the forum, so I probably should not comment, but just to make myself unpopular I will do so anyway:

Maintaining a popular forum is hard work and requires a strict set of rules. As far as I understand, the "no profanity" rule is there to prevent the influx of trolls who love to derail ...
In the parking garage, the walkthrough is, shall we say, misleading. It says you have to take the stealth option, which I always took to mean that you have to get through it without killing anybody (very difficult). The fact is that if you can get to ...

This game is so overbrimming with subtle jokes, kudos to the developers.
I think the whole Isaac Abrams element is a comment on the right wing propaganda, which claims that hollywood is run by socialist jews.
Now, in the game you have an Isaac Abrams, in a jewlery shop, secretly controlling ...

I loved the Malkavian character, especially his wit and dry humor, which almost none of the NPC comprehend. This made him appear superior to humanity, a trait which I missed with the Toreador character. It takes a fair knowledge of greek mythology to understand all of the Malkavians' lines though ...

Lady at the sea.

Never having been to LA, or the US, I wonder in how far the landmarks in the game resemble reality. I would imagine that troika exaggerated (added) the gothic element in the architecture, but would one be able to recognise the downtown skyscrapers from he game? Is there a golden temple in chinatown ...
