Aye, I too received such an e-mail.

Sender reported as "GameBanshee.com marius_sandu2002@yahoo.com " with the header 'New User Details'.

Brief glance at GB Discussion and a thread ('The Forum seems to be having LOTs of problems lately.')mentions some kind of server hacking incident last month?

As someone at RPGWatch (scroll to post #4) spotted this is a case of that 'recommendation marketing' for the browser game the OP mentions in the 1st post :p

@galraen

Then I respect your opinion sir, although you're three decades short of my grand parents and almost a decade short of my step-father :p Please forgive any impertinence that may have come across from this young brat.

I myself was born and raised in the Black Country. I had a deep-seated ...

Labelling the Thatcher government as maniacs is a bit OTT isn't it?

As for Phil well every family has a black sheep. Thankyou for filling out the picture of the Royals, warts and all :) best to balance my advocacy with a touch of realism.

As for Queeny, yes she reads her lines very well the ...

*raises hand* I know (and enjoy) Gothic!

I think back in the day (RPGDot.com comes to mind, sadly now dead) the European RPG fan sites handled a lot of the Gothic coverage. Indeed, there was something of a split in opinion/communities (only from my perspective I must add) between those that thought ...

Very nice rendition :)

In a similar vein, more of a BG tribute, there was a great piece of fan made music called 'Child of the Murder God' (based on the Bhaal theme) recorded from a grand piano which I also recommend.

NearInfinity or InfinityExplorer (memory is vague, might be wrong) are good tools for exploring all (or most of) the resources in your Infinity engine games.

Not sure where you'd have to look, but they should be in there somewhere.

If not, there's always Print Screen ;)

And for the wedding: 20 millions out of British tax-payers pockets for that? Ouch!

Would chip in again :) . While holding Social Democratic views I'm still a staunch monarchist. The Monarchy forms an integral part of the British Constitution, and provides the last failsafe against a maniac ...

Ahh, I was getting mixed up with Turkey.

If only we could all be more like Denmark ;) I was fortunate enough to spend 24 hours in Aarhus last year. Denmark would likely be my number one place to live if I were free to do so, alot of it is I love Tuborg :p .

Pakistan certainly has a very religious ...

I did however intend on insulting stupidity, fanaticism, religious demagogy and dictatorships. These plagues that like Midas ...

As-Salamu Alaykum,

The above posted video nullifies itself in the first minute. Stating that certain groups will profess what they believe to be absolute truths. Frankly that video is one of those horrific sorts that tries to portray itself as being neutral, enlightening and well-researched. The ...

Haven't seen the place buzzing since Ravager et al. got booted lord knows how long ago. Fable has gone walkabout too now

In fairness, it's mainly SYM that has quietened down. The game forums are still fairly active.

Look up 'reserve ratios' relating to banking to toss in some technical mumbo jumbo with regards to what Obsidian was saying.

While the 'animal spirits' (name of a good book, might be worth quoting) that Xandax was talking about had an early effect (say late 08), what we're essentially in the midst ...

It's completely ridiculous how countries such as the UK can't handle a little snow

Typical January weather in London. Rainy and grey, with a chilling bitterness in the wind. Murky fog in the mornings too, Big Ben and the skyscrapers of the Docklands barely discernable on my morning bus ride across Waterloo bridge. Some mornings not even the dome of St Paul's is visible.

I never ...
