Tell me more about Gothic 2 ?

My character was not join mage class, is that will affect to my magic ability and power ?
Or maybe I must increase my magic level to get the power of my magic ?, like arcane magic level.
If my arcane magic level is 10, how much I can damage enemies with NOVA BLAST ?
please help me, I'm newbie in ...

One thing about DL that i don't like is the game was too "spooky" and not "colourfull", I see in pcgameworld.com there are a game named SUDEKI, and I'm interested. But I dont have much information about that game, can you guys help me...

Do you know game like DL, but not too spooky and like anime things ?
