On my first play through I missed Nordom completely - big mistake as he is one of the funniest rpg characters ever. But my party looked like this:

Me
Morte
Annah
FFG
Ignus
Vhailor

Dropped Dak'kon for Vhailor, felt pretty bad about it after though.

When you say "beat the whole saga" I guess you're gonna be importing them into BG2.

So with this in mind I would download the mod Baldur's Gate Tutu and then you can chose the BG2 kits to play through BG. In which case the only choice for you would be the Ranger kit Archer. Preferably a Elf with ...

Right, I think I've cleared this up now. I went to game options > feedback settings > display attack rolls and created a new skald with strength 15 (i.e. no bonus to hit or damage). Whilst attacking Shank in Candlekeep my attack rolls were displayed as x + 1 = y.

I then went back and created a ...

It's calculated as soon as you create your character. Also, remember that it's a one-time bonus, so you won't see an improvement over time.

I get that it won't improve but I'm just unsure if it's having any effect at all. The base THAC0 and THAC0 appear to be identical for a vanilla bard. Is ...

Cheers for the response but I'm not sure I'm seeing it. This was for a lvl 1 skald with standard equipment so I would have though the THAC0 should have started at 19 but it displayed 20. I will try creating a pure bard comparison, aswell as a Kensai/fighter comparison aswell.

Skald bonus

Hope this is in the right forum as I'm actually playing through a tutu game at the mo but the question was about a BG2 kit.

I'm playing as a skald (for rping reasons) and in the kit description it says "gets +1 to hit and damage for all weapons" but in my char information my THAC0 never seems to ...

All classes have their strengths and weaknesses, so chose one you like most.

Like getting up close and personal, chose a warriors.
Like stabbing people in the back, chose a rogue.
Like looking after other people, chose a priest.
Like blasting other people with big spells, chose a mage.

The ...

I thought that but I can't for the life of me find where. Also Shawford says "well done on repelling the goblin attack" so I thought I'd got them all. Hmmmm?

Stuck in Targos (minor spoilers)

Hi folks, I'm having a little problem early on in Targos. After the goblins make their feeble three pronged attack on the palisade, with Caballus, I can't seem to get back into the town. Shawford Crale tells me well done and to go see Ulbrek but it won't let me. Also the action music keeps playing ...

Doh, should have guess really. Kept wondering where I had seen that pic before :p

Mine's probably Raven, he just never seems to get hit but he can sure kick some butt back. Also like his story. Never really used Lucius tho, used Canas more. Might have to use him when I go through Hector's story.

Cheers for the link Raven, although I'm still not entirely certain what it is they are working on. It seems like they are attempting to create all new NPC for interaction during the course of IWD2. Could be interesting, I'll have to see what pans out.

Anyone else know any more about this?

Is it possible - banter mod?

I was just wondering, as I have no experience in modding or coding, if it would be at all possible for a mod to be created to give the pre-made parties in IWD2 banter????

I have only played through the game once, using the party The Winter Rose, but I was struck with just how lifeless it was in ...

I have played FE7, not completed it though. I'm on chapter 26 and loving it, but can get annoying when one of your character dies. I just can't bring myself to carrying on without them! It's also frustrating to get as many of the supports as poss but fun once again.

It bugs me as well that the ...
