Stuck in Targos (minor spoilers)

Hi folks, I'm having a little problem early on in Targos. After the goblins make their feeble three pronged attack on the palisade, with Caballus, I can't seem to get back into the town. Shawford Crale tells me well done and to go see Ulbrek but it won't let me. Also the action music keeps playing, as if I've something left to do but I can't for the life of me figure out what

Any one have any suggestions on what I've done wrong?

Have you missed a stray goblin somewhere?

I thought that but I can't for the life of me find where. Also Shawford says "well done on repelling the goblin attack" so I thought I'd got them all. Hmmmm?

Another possible route

The game "autosaves" after you visit Shawford. I believe it names it fairly obviously, "Autosave: Shawford Crale". You might try loading that autosave and then trying to exit, if it exists. You might also check your last autosave before the fight and (hate to say it) refight the battle. I seem to remember that there were a few straggler goblins down in the lower left hand corner. Perhaps one of them had his morale broken and is cowering in a corner of the palisade?
